Why escwasd.com Exists
It's 2026. I accidentally discovered that one of my keys would auto-press itself. When I wanted to test my keyboard, mouse, or monitor, all the websites I found still looked the same — interfaces that look like products from twenty years ago, perfunctory features, and pop-ups that outnumber the actual buttons. I just wanted to quickly know which key was broken or which pixel was dead, but I was forced to find test entries amid a bunch of ads. That's not right. And I hope to increase inclusivity and convenience, being more friendly to people of multiple languages. I wanted to create a more multilingual tool that's convenient for everyone, so here it is.
Our Mission
escwasd.com has one goal: to build a clean, fast, and practical peripheral testing tool. Whether you have a brand new device straight out of the box or a second-hand purchase, this is where you can see its real state at the first moment.
The Design
For the design, I stubbornly went with a Game Boy color palette. Don't ask why a PC peripheral site would pay homage to a handheld console — the answer is simple: I miss the design language of that era, my dear.
